Cactus & Prickly Pear Clean-up

What is Prickly Pear?

A prickly pear, also known as cactus pear or tuna fruit, has large, fleshy pads.  Prickly pears have flattened oval or round stems with spines, which may be long and thick or short and fine.

Prickly Pear can damage your grassland.  Prickly Pear will not allow grass to grow or animals to graze nearby because of their sharp spines.  If an animal gets too close and is stuck with one of these spines, the area can become infected.

If you were to mow or shred a prickly pear bunch, this will only cause the pear to spread and multiply.

Our Service: We will clean-up and pile prickly pear/cactus where they can not spread. They will be piled in neat piles ready for you to burn at a later date.

Our fees: $55 per hour.

We use a Bobcat loader with a special attachment for picking up and piling prickly pear & cactus.

Payment is due upon completion of job. We do take cash, checks and Credit Cards thru PayPal, .

If you'd like us to drive to your site to estimate the cost to complete your project, we would be happy to do so, all estimates are free within a 1-2 hour drive from Briggs.
